Alix Robert - Windsurfer

Born: 14/02/1974
Lives: In Paris

I started windsurfing and skiing in 1982, did some ski competitions before to switching to snowboarding in 1994. I also used to swim at a high-level (French national level).

Since 1998, I have concentrated on snowboarding with 50 sessions every winter and on windsurfing which I practice every week-end in Normandie (Colleville-Montgoméry) and during regular trips to Tarifa (Spain, 6 times), Moulay Bouzarotoune (Marocco, 4 times), and La Reunion Island (Indian Ocean).

Nevertheless I’m still doing some long-skating, some wakeboarding and am starting kite-surfing. Basically I love Extreme Sports!

Some of my awards are semi-finalist of the Wissant Wave Classic in 2000, 13th of the Naish’s Wave Party II in 2001, 3rd in 2002 and 2004 in the EFREI windsurfing trophy and semi-finalist of the Westford trophy’s boardercross (Chamrousse) in 2003.

My best memory is the first wave I rode at “La Coudouliere” and my worst is my injuries especially in 1999 when I broke my fist in Chamrousse.

I live for windy days with waves, doing late front-loops and travelling with my friends and could do without dislike days without calm conditions and getting up early!
