Yoann André, Freeskier. Born: Age: 18 My Story: Hi, my name is Yoann Andre . i m 18 years old and I live in Barcelonette in the South French Alps. My parents are both ski instructors, so I started skiing early, at the age of 2 . At the age of 5 I joined the club des sports of Praloup. I trained with that club for 7 years. I did giant slalom and super giant competitions. Later on I quit le club de sport of Praloup to concentrate on Freestyle Skiing, the new evolution of skiing inspired by Skating and Snowboarding. So at the age of 15 I joined the club des sports of Courchevel. This club permitted me to progress and to meet a lot of people. At the age of 17 K2 took me in their French team. Today at the age of 18, extreme drinks, Dalbello ski boots, Uvex eyewear and Mada street wear also took me in their team. My Best Spot: My favorite ski resort is the Ubaye Valley in the south alps of France. There are a lot of possibilities to build backcountry kickers and to do street rails. Dreams: My dream is to be able to travel to the most beautiful places in the world like to Alaska, Chile and New Zealand. I would also like to shoot good video segments. Other: If I am not on my skis I love surfing, skateboarding, downhill mountain biking and trampolines. I also like to discover new cultures and to meet new people. I spend on average 5 or 6 weeks of the winter free skiing, and 4 weeks of the summer...
